Hello Beautifuls!
Happy French Bread Friday!
It’s been eight months! Yes. Eight months!
Although I am now an avid Instagrammer . . .
. . . I have missed here.
I almost feel like I did on my very first blog post, about ten years ago, when I posted a blank canvas and said a quiet “hello” to the world.
I feel very blessed to have met the most kind and genuine friends within this format of social media. It is amazing to see how many of you have evolved through the years.
. . . And it’s a true blessing that we are friends.
I am sure folks might roll their eyes or think I’m a little crazy when I refer to “my blog friend ___________”. But to be ‘candidly me’ . . . I believe the influences we share here and on Instagram, on a daily basis, without ever meeting one another in person are extremely enriching to me and for all who surround me in daily life. ( I hope I stated that right . . . I’m a little rusty with my writing, as Instagram is more visual!)
As you know, I am now retired from my day job and ready to take on the challenges of fixing up our modest Pacific Northwest home of forty years.
I’ll be here again on Fridays, to share our journey of restoration, our new gardening efforts ( Mr FB and I have almost started from scratch. ), views of my favorite places in the Pacific Northwest, some crafting, cooking, baking and always a serving of French Bread and Family Love!
And speaking of views . . .
The mountain is out!
Although I was born and raised in Seattle, I am proud to say this is our hometown!
Have a best – blessed week!
See you next FBF!
